Recent discussions on the future of the Church in our Deanery highlighted the need for evangelisation, beginning with families, with young children.

This does not mean ‘telling’ things to them, but making them feel they belong, this is their place, they are important.

We have our “Children’s Liturgy” but Chioma Agwuh is outlining today a simple strategy, to bring the children into the life of the Church more, so that they feel part of it and as they grow, so their faith will mean more and more to them.

Thank you for the donations last weekend, which total 32.5kg.

Since the Foodbank opened in September 2013, you have donated just over 15 tons of foodstuff. Congratulations for all your contributions, they are greatly appreciated.

Stocks of tinned meat, fruit, tomatoes, vegetables , rice pudding & fish. are running low.
