As a parish, we are very fortunate that so many people are currently using the ‘Standing Orders’ system for making their contributions to the Church. Once you set it in motion, however, it is easy to forget about it.

The Church would appreciate it, perhaps on an annual basis, if we would adjust our contributions to reflect our parish needs even if by a small increment. The same appeal also applies to those who are currently using the envelope system.

If you are considering switching to the Standing Order system please set it up on a monthly basis as each transaction costs the church a handling fee.

Foodbank

Thank you for the donations last weekend, which total 32.5kg.

Since the Foodbank opened in September 2013, you have donated just over 15 tons of foodstuff. Congratulations for all your contributions, they are greatly appreciated.

Stocks of tinned meat, fruit, tomatoes, vegetables , rice pudding & fish. are running low.
